Kiker Corporation has a comprehensive safety program which strives to teach employees how to avoid known dangers in the roofing process. Every new employee undergoes safety orientation using teaching presentations obtained from the National Roofing Contractors Association, other professional sources, and those developed by Kiker Corporation. Periodic safety meetings and training sessions are held for all employees. Additionally, written policy is issued to all employees outlining behavior that is required while in the employ of the company. Through its comprehensive safety program the company has, as a rule, been able to keep its experience modifier factor for workers compensation insurance well below that of the average in the industry. Safety is first with the Kiker Corporation team. We are proud of our employees and their intent to work safe. A copy of the company's Employee Handbook can be furnished if requested.
Drug and Alcohol Policy
The company has a comprehensive drug and alcohol policy in place so as to try to protect both the workers and the customers from dangers that occur from substance abuse. The company's intent is that all work areas be drug free.
Risk Management
Kiker Corporation utilizes all available methods in the industry to successfully operate its risk management program. Our company carries general liability and workers compensation insurance through appropriately rated carries and insurers. The company maintains a working relationship with its agents and underwriters in order to keep claims and losses to a minimum, thereby increasing productivity and profitability. The company maintains a bonding line with the International Fidelity Insurance Company. Payment and performance bonding can be obtained form our surety when such is desired or required.
